Random Vibration / Buzzing
« on: October 14, 2011, 07:20:28 pm »

I have a Thrive, purchased it a month ago. I turned it on this morning and out of the blue, it just started making intermittent  buzzing sounds. It sounds like a really loud cell phone vibration. Has anybody had this problem? Does anybody know how to fix it. The random buzzing is really, really, annoying, and a disappointment for a product that I otherwise love. Hoping for some guidance in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.

not exactly sure what that is actually.  Did you find a solution? Anyone else out there experience this?

I'm not sure if this will fix it but if you go into 'settings' and then into 'sound', there's a box next to something called 'haptic feedback'. This makes the unit vibrate when pressing certain keys or doing certain functions. If you uncheck that box, the vibrating might stop.
